Advice For Moving
Preparation is everything! If you’re moving house, please ensure you have allowed plenty of time to get everything packed and ready for when I arrive.
If you live in a block of flats, I will be happy to help you carry everything down, but if you can get everything to the exit before I arrive it will save time and therefore save you money!
When I load the van, I will put furniture and appliances in first, followed by boxes, and then bags last. Please bear this in mind when preparing so we don’t have to move everything out of the way to get to the big stuff.
Try to avoid having open boxes as it’s usually not possible to stack anything on top.
Please make sure that any delicate or fragile items are well packed or wrapped. My insurance policy specifies that it will not pay out on claims where damage is a result of poor packing.
